Hello all. I'm finally replacing my stock 18" wheels with 19 x 8.5 ET47 wheels on an '06 3.2 C6? Has anyone ran with the ET47? I haven't seen any post about it in the search. Just wondering what spacers to go with if any at all.
I'll be refreshing the suspension, but going with Eibach lowering springs. Depending on the setup, 255 on the tires. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

ok, so I will tell you my setup and then you go from there.

I am running Eibach Pro KIt with Bilstein B8. Two sets of wheels 245/40/18 (8J) winter set, I believe ET is 45. No issues at all.

for summer, 255/35/19 (8.5J), ET 43, no issues at all. Now, If I remember, this is "tight" on the control arm side in wheel well, (especially in the back) meaning, Im not sure how much bigger ET you could pull of without using spacers. That ET47 might actually cause tire rubbing on control arm in the front.
I pretty much think my setup now is perfect, the back is just perfect, front, If I really had to nitpick could use 5mm spacer, but then, it might rub on the fender, now it does not rub ever no matter road conditions.
BUT I DO have complete new suspension with all new control arms and suspension travel is minimized and good as brand new.

    Mine is an Avant though.

Thank you for the response, I really appreciate it. I was thinking of at least 5mm spacers myself. I'll buy a set to try out whenever I redo the suspension, and mount the wheels. I'm a professional shade tree mechanic 🤓, but the one thing I've never dabbled with are wheels and offsets, so I'm clueless on that.
