Strange Paint Defects After Heavy Rain

So my girls TT MK2 VR6 Convertible had immaculate paint and we get it detailed very often, ceramic coated, and its a head turner. Recently though, we got hit by a pretty intense atmospheric river. And I noticed some strange sorts of paint defects that don't rub off with water, has anyone ever seen these? Is this something below clear coat or just needs a good bit of elbow grease with a dual action polisher? Praying for the latter...IMG_7560.jpgIMG_7559.jpgIMG_7562.jpgIMG_7561.jpg

It’s hard to tell from the photos what’s going on. Does it still feel smooth to the touch or is it rough? I would first try hitting it with some detailing spray and clay and then try polishing it with your orbital. If that doesn’t fix it I’m not sure. Have you asked your ceramic coating installer or did you do that yourself?

I asked the detailer i work with no response yet. However, it does feel smooth to the touch, indicating to me it's beneath the clear coat. But there hasn't been extreme temperature differences to deform the paint.

Yeah that’s weird. This rain has been crazy but I don’t know how it could do that.

That's what I am saying, the car was spotless before this besides a few minor scratches. Hate to see because my girl loves her car, even bought a new top for it and she's been getting nothing but bad luck with this car even though it's mint.

I highly doubt it is acid rain, we never get that here, and my car with slightly worse paint is just fine. This is the only car in the fleet that is damaged and it happens to be the best looking paint which is why I'm confused.
