ECS throttle body tech help - adaptation failed

    Hey guys,

I bought the larger ECS throttle body and just recently installed it. Im at the point to do a throttle body adaptation but I'm getting an error code.

    Throttle body adaptation: malfunction
    https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ecs-part...hoCLfwQAvD_BwE

I've installed the new throttle body and harness. Looks to be no fitment issues but I do get the error code preventing the adaptation to start.

    I'm using VCSD - engine 01 - basic settings 04 -

Any guidance would be really appreciated.

Also worth noting I am using the supplied harness adapter. I'll check with my tuner

I don't believe giac offers a tb file...

Which is a GREAT thing because you can spend another 650$ and switch over to 034 and they'll have all the files you need

As pointed out and now confirmed with GIAC, ECS TB not compatible. giac is compatible with the iabed TB. So i'll go that route once I can. Im not interested in changing tuners at this point.

Thanks all that got back to me

An iabed tb kit is at least $500 and if it does work, you are still limited on file options. (Especially since I'm sure giac isn't interested in updates).

Switching to 034 costs $600 and youll have access to any and all the files you'll ever need. And they are all updated files . Which means your ecs tb WILL work.

Also 034 is local to you...

$500 for 6HP is also very poor value for money
