Air Suspension fault light after lowering link install

    Hi Everyone,

Has anyone had an Air Suspension fault light come on after installing lowering links? I bought the cts turbo links and installed at the length suggested on the website. Now no matter what drive mode I am in after about 5 mins of driving the warning comes on and I cannot lower or raise the car. This clears when turning the car off and on again but then happens again. I have to add that after the install I drove the car home and I must not of tightened one link down enough and it separated and completely tucked the rear wheels. It was a 10 min drive and was very close to home and fixed it immediately. Hoping that mishap didn’t cause this. TIA

No issues here for 1.5 years of owning my allroad on Ghost Links. Your measurements must be off with each link causing the error. Go buy a caliper and make sure you lengthen/shorten each link exactly.

It's possible that links were not installed correctly and are not allowing the suspension to move properly. You should double check the installation to make sure the links are properly secured and that the suspension is able to move freely without any restrictions.

Most importantly that the hight sensor arm is positioned correctly. It would be easy to have it reversed. Also front and rear links are different sizes.

I've had ghost links for two years with no issues.

I've had the CTS links since delivery in November and no issues. Maybe a code was thrown when you drove with the link separated and just have to clear it?
