    Dash ambient lighting install

    Has anyone installed the dash ambient lighting kit off eBay for the prestige cars? I purchased one and it came with no instructions.

    I’ve been looking to do this in my B9.5 S4

    I know the kit will work just fine. I’m just not convinced the module that comes with it to flash through OBD works on the B9.5.
    I can’t get the long coding to work either!

    are you talking about the full ambient kit for the whole car or just the front dashboard ambient

    Just the front dash ambient lighting. I purchased the kit from eBay for around $200. I saw Yaode’s video but he doesn’t explain the wiring part very well and that’s what I am most curious about before I tear the dashboard apart

    its pretty straight forward, you are tapping into the driver side foot well lighting under the kick boards. from there, it just route across the car behind the dash trim
