    Hey guys I’ve seem to run into a issue and need some assistance my motor seized in my 2011 s4 I’ve already dropped the engine and transmission out but I can’t separate them there’s only a half inch gap between the transmission and engine how could I possibly go about this

    There's full instructions on how to pull motor and/or trans. These are the factory manuals.

    You need to pull the CV-Joint-flange / driveshaft out of the drivers-side of the bellhousing of the transmission before it can separate from the engine.

    Good idea, but unfortunately not true. To avoid damage to the Flange Shaft Seal, the Left Flange Shaft should not be removed while the transmission is mated to the engine, as you should technically insert a guide tool(which can only be inserted with the bell housing inners exposed. Or at least guide with your hand.) to avoid damage to the Seal.

    James, I'm hoping you got them separated by now. If not, you forgot to remove the flywheel bolts via the access window.
