    Exclamation 2.0 TFSI CDNC Problems

    Hello guys,

    I have a problem with my 2.0 TFSI A4 B8.
If I drive it for some time on the highway [over 30km] and then enter the city and drive more slowly, it starts to have problems. Start Stop does not always work, and if it works sometimes when it starts the engine does not exceed 200 revs and I have to accelerate a little. The engine starts to misfire [ you can hear the exhaust fumes in 2nd gear at revs of 2500-3000 ] and the engine jerks and the Check Engine lights up on the board and when I enter the tester it gives me a Misfire on the injector. 1 and 4.
If I get back on the highway, the engine runs normally.
I want to mention that I put in new OEM injectors, New PCV , GFB DV+ Diverter Valve.
And I have 0.4kg/h of false air.
Here are the codes I found:

    P2279
    P2178
    P0299
    P2188

And i think this one is fixed P0299 because of the DV+. It didn't appear anymore.

    Scans I did : https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/4mmyi...ulbiapu6v71jhf
Sorry if the scans are in Romanian,I don't know how to change it to english.

I suspect you need to replace your HPFP.

Open your oil filler cap. Do you note any fuel smells?

Yes, I can smell the gas in the oil cap.
    I did a Fuel test
    The engine was warm.

Those are all symptoms of a failed HPFP (high pressure fuel pump)

    Update:
Bought a new Hitachi Pump + tapper and change it,no more problems anymore, car works great.

    - I recommend to do an Oil change because you'll have fuel mixed with oil.

Thank you in advance for you advice and I hope this will help others having the same problem.

    Replying to the last post,

So i've changed the HPFP,and did Service, bought a new Hitachi + Tapper *The old tapper was still pretty good* and I even had new OEM Injectors.

But the problem is that now I have this code:

    2837 - Fuel ramp/system pressure
    P0088 00 [096] - too high
flashing - Unconfirmed - Tested since memory wipe
    code circumstances:
    Fault status: 00000001
    Defect priority: 2
    Defect frequency: 3
    mileage: 163320 km

The injectors were changed before the new HPFP.
And i still have a 0.4kg/h air leak, can't find it anywhere.
