    2016 S3 - best wheels and tires

I am contemplating purchasing new wheels or keeping the stock 19" with my spacers as it is time to purchase new tires. Any recommendations on upgrading to a new wheel and if so, what offset? Car is not currently lowered.

Been doing research on tires and wanted to know experience with the Continental DWS 06 or other brands. I had Pirelli P Zeros on it when purchased and replaced with Michelin Sport Pilot and do not plan to replace with more Michelins.

Thanks in advance as I'm new to posting and modifying my car. :)

Unless you plan to drive on light snow, the summer version of the Continental ExtremeContact Sport (DW) is a far better choice than the DWS.

Asking peoples opinions on what the best wheels and tires are is a bit like asking "what's the best pizza topping?"

What do you want different from your new wheel/tire set that your current setup isn't giving you? More traction, less weight, better rain or snow performance, aesthetics?

If you live in a warm climate with no snow, go with summer tires. The grip and sheer performance level from Summers to all season is a big difference. The only pros to all season are they last longer and can be used in the snow. For Summers, I recommend Continental Extreme Contact Sports, they are the best bang for the buck. Otherwise Michelin PS4S' which is what I run but they are pricey. I had the DWS06s on my A3 quattro when I had it and it dulled the experience. I am sticking with summers on the S3 because of my experience. Also I stay stick to 19s. 20s are a tad big and your ride quality will suffer. The OEM 19s on our S3s look great in my opinion.

I don't think you can find a better tire than the Michelin PS4S. Yes, the Continental ECS are cheaper, but the Michelin's are better - I'm running the Contis right now and I had the Michelin's before.
