Adjustable Side Bolsters - Fine Napa

I was lead to believe that only the leather/alcantara seats have adjustable side bolsters, and that the adjustability is a delete with the fine napa option - is that correct?

    Yes that's incorrect.

Good to hear. Having come from from an e9x BMW platform, the B8.5 S4 seats were really disappointing in terms of lateral support for a thinner guy. Great looking seats though.

The B9 pneumatic lumbar/massage option, available for both the sport and S sport seats, adds adjustable side bolsters but only to the S sport seats, regardless of seat surface material. (S sport seats are the ones with the non-adjustable integrated headrest)

I'm hoping that holds true for the B9.5 S sport seats as well on my incoming '23 S5 SB. I'm lamenting the apparent removal of the kick to open rear luggage lid feature that I was looking forward to having, along with the missing toll module, so having the adjustable side bolsters will help compensate! Oh wait, this is the RS5 specific thread -- so even though my S5 SB is a prestige model, there's probably a good chance it won't get the adjustable bolsters!

The S sport seats in the S and the RS are the same seats with the same tech. Just maybe some different stitching/embroidery.

Thanks for that welcome information on the side bolsters Smac! Meanwhile, I just took a look at the Audi.CA website, where the list of standard features on the '23 S5 SB clearly states it comes with "Audi advanced key with foot-activated tailgate release" for those who may have noticed there is no similar verbiage on the US standard features list.

Correct. The foot activated truck release is still installed on Canadian cars. It's been removed as an available item on US cars.

Agreed. The seats in the RS5 function the way a sports seat should - they actually hold you during hard cornering. Huge improvement over the B8 S4 seats.
