Drive modes / Underwhelming RS Modes

    Hey All!

I just picked up a new 2022 RS7. I’m still learning the car and such.

    On the drive modes:

My initially impression of RS1 and RS2 modes were that the steering was way too light. I continued to play around and finally tried out dynamic mode. In Dynamic I immediately noticed a more firm steering wheel and I believe the overall ride is more sporty than it is in RS1 or RS2. I’ve had an RS5 and other Audis before I know the RS modes should be beyond Dynamic when it comes to sportier driving. I’ve set the RS modes to their sportiest settings and can still confirm that Dynamic is just more fun.

Has anyone experienced this? And I missing something?

I only use rs2 mode to turn off driver aids and presense when needed...or launching. Else dynamic in S does the trick.

RS1 and RS2 are definitely more sportier in terms of the launch and the power feel. Its more responsive, livelier and aggressive than the dynamic. Make sure that the transmission steering is set to sport in the RS1 and RS2 mode. Steering should feel exactly the same as dynamic mode. I have the unitronic stage 1+ tuned flashed from home and it totally transform the car. Also stock pirellis are a bit soft and when I switched to the Michelin 4S I can feel more heavier weight to the steering and better response.
