    Decent knock off pedal covers?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Anyone get pedal covers (aluminum looking ones) that are decent for a 6 speed?

I ordered random ones from ebay and the rubber is already falling off the metal straight out of the box.

I ordered some decent ones for my q5 on amazon, but no one seems to sell one with clutch cover.

    Thanks!

I didn't buy them, but I did have the "Frosted Anti-Slip" version of these pedals on my B7 A4 Avant 6MT and have to say, they were awesome. I wouldn't recommend them for barefoot driving, but wet, dry, snow\slush.... in shoes\boots I never had my foot slip off. I though about getting them for my A5 but it's a convertible and I drive barefoot now, 90% of the time. Maybe the smooth would be OK, but if the sun hits them.... YEOUCH.

I've found these on my own before and considered them.

Are they just ones you overlay on the stock pedals, or are they complete replacements? How tedious was the installation?

Mine were on the car when I bought it, so I can't speak to the installation. Perhaps emailing the company for installation instructions would get you those details, since I unfortunately cannot.

    Yikes.

Drilling into the stock pedals is a bit uncomfortable.

I understand that the stock covers can be put back on, but if don't find that I like them, that would suck.
