Hello, i am replacing the stock battery and installing the Odyssey battery.
    The battery AH is 94.
The VCDS battery adaption size, there is no 94ah on the list. The closest either 93 or 95 AH.
Which AH size should I selected 93 or 95ah?

    Thanks

Select 93. Chose the closest aH size without going over.

Just bought the same battery. What did you enter for manufacturer (doesn't show EnerSys or Odyssey as an option)
and the serial number. There's no sticker with it on there.

Reuse the old vendor code and change the last 2 digits of the serial number.

Put “unknown” for manufacturer if it isn’t listed. Put the serial # that should be on the battery for the serial # as it should be the same number of characters as the BEM code.

Odyssey batteries have no BEM code.

I just got a battery from costco (no BEM code) and the serial # on the side of the battery was the same amount of numbers/characters as the prior battery BEM code (also in same order of # and letters as prior BEM code). So I just used that.

Just change the last digit of the field when you're in VCDS. The number just needs to change.

It’s not an issue that I put the serial # of the battery is it? I did take a picture of the old code prior to changing it.

No, it's perfectly fine. The number just needs to change so the vehicle knows it's a new battery.

the only important coding value that matters is the field for battery type. AGM so the BEM charges it properly.
