Unfortunately I've got to let this car go. Trans is dead and I don't have the space/time to do a manual/auto swap. It will go into reverse and into limp mode with "drive" selected. This would be an amazing base for someone looking for a manual S6. I've done almost all preventative maintenance that is required on a high mileage engine. Paint is in great shape, bumper needs work (faded) and as you can see in the pics I clipped a wall not long ago on the rear wheel arch. Nothing a PDR guy couldn't fix in a couple minutes. Car exterior is dirty/dusty in the pics and I apologize but its winter here and hoses are currently frozen! Car comes with all associated paper work and manuals.
Below is a list of the work Ive done:
-Oil change with Liqui Molly Leichtlauf every 5k
-181k TB Service, water pump, t-stat, Acc belt and pulleys, coolant reservoir, spark plugs, oil cooler pipe and gasket, trans fluid change and filter
-182k Tie rods, rear break calipers, CCM, SS brake lines
-183k All front control arms, drive shaft carrier, front calipers, front rotors and pads, brake fluid flush
    -185k Fuel filter
-187k Rear rotors and pads, Biltsein struts x4, upper shock mounts
-190k Cam chain tensioners, air filter, rear hub carrier bushings
-191k Both front knuckles, front wheel bearings
-195k Valve cover gaskets and ceramic coat (yes, I coated the car a week before the trans died, FML)

Drivers side Cat is rattling, I have an o2 sensor bung/mini-cat in there now so it won't throw a code (it hasn't yet).

No engine related codes are present, obviously there are a few for the trans.

Vehicle is located near 60402 IL

    Asking $3800

I'm sure there are some things I forgot to list and will try and update as I go through my notes.

I'd love to sell this to someone here so I don't have to deal with the shitshow of FB!

You've certainly put a lot into getting this car all sorted out, and a manual transmission swap makes so much sense.
I hope you find a good buyer that understands these C5 S6 cars.

Any chance you still have the original cam chain tensioners? My drivers side one is bent.

If so, you can get me fastest at [email protected].

    Thanksl!
