Supercharger bleeder screws stripped

I was replacing bleeder screws and stripped the head off of one. I tried to cut a line into it to turn the remainder out with a flat head but the heat has deteriorated the plastic to the point where my flat head would just break it apart and now there’s just pieces of it stuck see photo. If I get most of it out of the threading how bad is it if there is tiny pieces of plastic left over in the system something that may have fallen in that I can’t see?

It's fairly easy to remove the supercharger if all else fails. If it were me I'd pull the supercharger and chip the old screw out with it upside down.

yea I fucked it up now need new intercoolers. problem is the oe ones are all backordered can only get the ones from Audi at like $600 each. are they the same part for both sides? I may have found some online for $359

Whoops. Yeah same part, both sides.

Get them from FCP in case they fail in the future.

ok next question, what else do I need when changing the intercoolers? I just had a supercharger off service less than 1000 kms ago. carbon clean pcv pump thermostat etc. do I need all new gaskets again?

This kit shows the part numbers for all the gaskets. The intercoolers come with the rectangular gasket. I would definitely get coolant pipe o rings. There's an o ring that goes around the round end of the intercooler tank that I would replace too but I'm unsure which is it in this list. Should be 2 of them.

get mahle version( still oem some.even have audi symbols on them . mine did) . u can get 2 for price of 1 genuine audi part.


EDIT: THEY ARE NOW BACk ORDERD they werent last week.

If you get them at ECS they will say they're stocked but in actuality they may be backordered until June lol. They aren't great about that.
