adding audi drive select button to c7?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I have a 2013 a6 that was using a wheel with the * button. i swapped the button for the audi drive select and its not working.

I understand it wont show up in instrument cluster. but the button isnt changing modes even when in "car" in mmi.

Has any one had success on pre facelift c7 cars?

Yeah, I have a 2017 S6. Drive select button was plug and play but required simple coding to have it appear on the instrument cluster.

Auto hold is on my to do list, already ordered the part and have it at home but I’m just being lazy lol.

Swapped out the paddle shifters for the Urus style ones which I’m loving.

I'm not sure , but you'll likely get soft codes afterwards worth clearing. If it matters.
