Bought a new wiper motor thinking it was burn out, but not so. No power to the motor.*
Now troubleshooting what is causing 'no power'.

1. fuses: confusing (!!!) number of different diagrams which fuse is for the wiper motor. Does anyone have good educated guess what fuse?*
2. hood switch: son has car, so i can't check. But found note saying that if hood is not closed, wiper may not work. Does the 2006 have a dash warning light for 'hood open'? How does it look light. Then simple test would be: open hood and check if light comes on, close if light goes off. If NOT, that could be the cause (and bypassing the hood switch could be quick fix).
2. relay: is there are wiper relay or similar in the circuit? If so, location and photo/link?*
3. steering wheel wiper stark/switch. I assume clock spring has to be removed, etc. Link to procedure? Part number for 2006?*

Other suggestions/idea?
