Has anyone experienced this issue/alert on the dash? Fix options? Headlight replacement?

I think it's likely a wiring issue as it is extremely intermittent, being there is nothing consistent about when it shows up and disappears.

I haven't had time to try and crack the light open to investigate, but I can see that in my future, likely when I get under the car to install some new parts.

Sounds like your H7 cornering bulb is out. Replace it and clear the codes with VCDS or similar. On the B8.5s, the error won’t go away with just changing the bulb.
