    Wheel color opinions

So just got my car back from Audi where they did a brake flush and were a touch careless...they etched one of my wheels. So I've been thinking about a color change for a bit and I guess now is the time. Attached is the car currently. It is navarra blue wrapped in stealth xpel. The current wheels are Midnight Smoke from Vossen. They will be sent back to Vossen for the redo however my contact said it doesn't have to be an in house Vossen color. Being totally upfront I am not into black wheels and this color was just a touch to close to black for me. It had all the black issues while never being truly black. It did look great in the sun when cleaned but we all know how dirty these brakes are. So my current thinking is simple go down to the dark smoke which I had on my SRT jeep and loved or go a totally different direction. I am looking for opinions so feel free to toss them this way!

    Thanks!

I know you want to mask the brake dust, but those wheels on with Navarra would look amazing in Silver...

Ive had a few others mention a brighter finish and thank you for the opinon! I want to stay with Vossens transparent colors. Ive added pics to the firsts post of my Jeep and my BMW. The Jeep has the dark smoke and the BMW has the light. I think the light smoke will look like the Silver your are mentioning but still be transparent.

Perfect, light smoke would be my choice!

The wheel colour you had looks serious and outstandingly sinister (“fully sick” in Millenial speak) against the Stealth Expel, however if you have the light smoke as in the BMW then it’s going to really pop and look sensational against the stealth, however (could be a great thing) it will certainly change the whole image of the car. I’d be choosing the BMW shade…… but I tend towards “white and silver” rather than the “very popular” black on black, so maybe you might need to discount my opinion a bit

Good luck. Be keen to see pics of the end result

I would do a satin gray that's in the titanium family of colors (a light to medium gray with a touch of brown). I think that would be a nice change of pace (without being too wild or attention grabbing) and be a great complement to the blue
