    Revving in Park

I feel silly asking this but when I am at a stoplight and want to make some exhaust noise in Dynamic how do I do this without the car moving?

I put it into park and change to Dynamic but I can feel the rear of the car trying to take off when I press the pedal so it goes out of park mode. Even turning off traction control doesn't help.

In a manual it was easy but if I use neutral it kills the exhaust sound. Is it just not possible to hit high RPMs in dynamic without moving?

Get a tune. 034 for example, in dynamic/neutral will be loud as hell and pop violently. All your ricer needs will be solved!

I grabbed the 034 during the BF sale I just haven't done the flash yet. Doing a lot of driving for a work project and still have some warranty left.

So I don't slam into the rear end of the car in front of me which is described in the rest of my post that you didn't quote.

My car has never once moved a smidge when revving it in park, even at 7500rpm. It’s effectively in neutral.

If the car is trying to take off in park then you're not in park. Read your owner's manual before you cause an accident.

I know his question was rhetorical, I'm not stupid. What I want to do at a stoplight really is none of your concern now is it?

Punching a cop has nothing to do with revving my engine you sound nonsensical and idiotic.

Now move the feck on bro

It doesn't but I put it into dynamic so the sound is there otherwise it's in comfort in park.

What about throwing it into neutral instead of park?

The sounds gets killed like it's in comfort mode otherwise that would be the obvious way to go.

I had the IE Stage 2 tune. It takes the rev limiter off. A lot of people love to tailgate me so when I get to the stop light and if they're on my rear, when I rev to 6k once and let the RPM's drop, my car occasionally spits a fat flame along with a loud POP. It makes me smile!

Mine also tends to spit black shit out of the exhaust (have to pressure wash out of the garage every now and then), good times

If your car moves in “park”, you are not in park. Did you just pull the parking brake and not put the transmission in ‘P’ or something?

I misspoke. When I was putting it into Dynamic it was just taking it out of park. I should have described what I was doing more clearly.

So I figured out the issue. I had an individual drive mode created. When I put the car into neutral it would use this.

So the fix for me is to go into the drive mode menu, then put it into dynamic and it still stays in neutral.

A little cumbersome but it gets the job done and I don't do it often despite some of the sarcastic opinions from others.
