hello! i need some help figuring out how to add a subwoofer to my c5 but without changing my MMI setup can i remove the cd changer and everything on the left side of the avant trunk to fit a subwoofer? and is there anything else i can use to get a after market amp then to use a high-low converter and if i use a high-low converter can i connect it to the orginal sub so i dont get the horrible drone sound?

There are low level outputs that go from the head unit into the stock amplifier. Using a wire -> RCA plug adapter you can easily get them to plug into an amp. I'm not sure if you can tap into the wires and split the signal, so that the factory amp still receives a signal. I got rid of my amp entirely and used the low level outputs. Works great.

My 01 allroad had a 6.5 inch dual coil sub in the right side on the rear, i made a minor upgrade by covering plastic sub housing with dynamate and replacing sub with much larger magnet, mounting it magnet out, as there was not enough space inside housing.
