His buddy with a c6 vet with a P1 SC kit tuned currently at low to mid 800 got my by about a car - car and a half.

Very nice. Your car sounds like it's running pretty healthy times, all things withstanding. I recently met up with some likeminded folks and partook in some activities--albeit I don't record those instances. I ran a 900whp Terminator Cobra. Unfortunately for me, about 3-4 seconds into the pull, my charge pipe came apart right before the intercooler. However, I was freight training him prior to that happening so, I don't think we will run it back. Cool dude nonetheless, though. Later this month will be another meetup but, I think I will focus on my wife getting some runs in.

A week prior of our Germany trip he was in a very aggressive and extensive police control back at home and they accused him of having an illegal flap control and forced him to remove some cables in his trunk wich actually control the WMI and so when he tried to run the big power map with Misha the ECU did limit the power by a lot because the WMI was not properly connected and the car went into a kind of safe mode and yeah the owner did not know that at the time of the recording because he does not use the big map on the streets... The car was upgraded by a well known tuner in Austria and actually put down it's power so no he doesn't believe in ghosts... but it was unfortunate timing - we will be back with everything fixed dont worry..."

The comments were funny, but it looks like the water meth injection wasn't working, went into limp which was probably stock power. Not sure if they are using a Syvecs or something for control. Misha is great about dissecting a setup - pads on this were meh for track (DS2500) as reflected by others here, handling while great for FWD bias is not really on par with a good RWD setup (expected). The extra AudiSport aero is meh too (good looks) otherwise Misha would have pointed it out as he does with others, that's also reflected here.

Yeah--that was a shame to see but, frankly unsurprising. Another thing that people get caught up on is product advertising for power levels or relying too much on a dyno. Realistically, people need to get their cars weighed (like actually weighed and not relying upon what the manufacturer says) and then pit that up against performance metrics to get a better understanding of what kind of power their car is actually making. There are calculators out there for folks to use to get an idea of where they stand but, it's always an estimate. Hell, even dyno numbers are misleading because most folks will take the absolute highest number their car made on either the horsepower or torque figure and claim that as the amount of power the car makes all the time. That's why I just give a range or say "about x-horsepower."

Weight is huge =) I started tinkering when cars were 2000-2400lbs and 140-160 whp was the bomb, now it seems like a bunch of dancing hippos the way weight has increased. Just add moar powa! Not.

Chasing weight gets spendy, but I think it adds a proper dynamic to the car, utilize the power you have in more than just acceleration. I've gone after "easy" weight - battery, exhaust, brake rotors, rims and tires. On a vehicle scale I got 3240lbs with a full tank of E85 (heavier than gas). Rear seat delete coming plus some slightly lighter AP calipers/rotors, hoping to get to 3200lbs.

Found a formula to get a guesstimate of WHP based on 60-130 time.

Only number that really matters is WHP, IMO. 034 Motorsport shows 489whp for S2 E85, this is from a heart-breaker Mustang dyno. I also have the TB inlet from Eurocode, that's maybe another 5-8 whp. I got a 6.95s 60-130, DA 592, slope .51. Running the formula I get 515whp , pretty close =)

Yes. The combination of the items I have chosen aren't inherently unique but, the items themselves are, per se. Without being super specific with my entire setup, it's a Next Gen 6670 with a 0.81 A/R and their new H-Cover. That's a bit of a strange combo but, it should prove to be capable. Spool similar to a Gen 2 6870 or IMS950 but the top end of 1100hp. With that being said, I'm not pushing this turbo hard at all. I plan to stop around 975-1000whp, ish. Hopefully that'll be around 42psi or less considering the combination of parts I picked.

No issues with the build, in fact, it passed a compression and leak down test with flying colors (nearly perfect numbers). I went with JE pistons that are OEM compression. No trouble at all with my oil or trans temps but, I am purposefully restricting my setup by using an STM 1000hp intercooler. I have about 10k miles on the build and I daily drive it. I don't, however, daily race it. I think some people are used to the idea that folks build their engines like this and only race them so they're apprehensive about miles on a build. When I did this build initially, the entire conversation revolved around how I will be daily driving it and to set it up with that in mind.

However, I am hoping that this combination will help me to finally achieve my goal of hitting a quarter mile in the 8's on the street and still being able to do over a 1.25G turn1 with the same exact setup.

Is it just me, maybe I'm getting refined (old) or does the stock exhaust with valves open give a nice clear melody of the engine? With DP and mid pipes it sort of sounds like you put a plunger mute on a trumpet.
