    Cam Chain Tensioner repair

    So im replacing the tensioner and the seals but I thought you could replace them without pulling motor. Alot of people are telling me otherwise but idk

    Yes, you can replace those items without pulling the motor. Just remember to put everything back in the same spot and the cam shaft does not move. There are a few videos on youtube on doing this on the 2.7t motor.

    It is definitely possible without pulling the engine. I did mine the same day as my Valve Cover Gasket job. Just be sure the cams don't move.

    Cam Chain Tensioner repair

    No need to pull the engine. You do need a decent 1/4” drive ratchet setup for some fasteners, though. Bank 1 isn’t any fun, either.
