Hope you have all seasons on the ZL1. The OEM tires will get destroyed by these temps.

Here in Northen Virginia 55 miles west of D.C. our 2019 RS 3 has a small but very highly
insullated and A/C equipped garage, that certainly keeps our 2019 RS 3 in very good
condition. Now at 43,075 miles and 3 days a week on country back roads, weather
permitting, which has been how our Audi has racked up 31,014 miles fast back roads
thus far. A truly great back roads runner, after we fitted 245/40/18 tires and Neuspeed
18x8.5 alloy wheels on it, selling the stock RS 3 19-inch wheel/tire configuration the
    next day.

Our Photo Gallery shows pictures of our Audi configuration, if your interested.

I'll soon be 83 years old and have been driving BMW's and Porsche's for many years in
Southern California in the Santa Monica mountains. So quite a bit of experience with
such roads and automobiles, fortunately. And our 2019 Audi RS 3 is certainly a very
potent and great handling automobible, given it is fitted with a very good tire and
wheel configuration. We found Audi's use of 19-inch tire/wheel configurations is not
a really good configuration... in our experience driving fast country back roads at
times when few if any other cars are on these roads in good weather. IE 10am-2PM
    week days only.

My 2 cents on the matter.

Could be, as I don't keep track of every post I make, or go back to see all I've posted.
And at my age my brain ain't as SHARP as it used to be! I am just very happy
that my driving skills are still better than the average driver... even though my comments
may be that I've repeated myself.

Sorry if my identical posts bother you, but I'd rather make an identical post that I think
is worthwhile, rather than saying nothing at all, given my lengthy experience with our
automobiles and automobile friends of my past 65 years of driving with them...
watching and learning about what they've had difficullty with... including my own.

It was 60 degrees here. I wouldn't drive the zl1 in the rain or if it was below 50, anyway.

Mine barely touches the rain, I baby it too much unfortunately since it’s my first “expensive car”. Would love to take it in the snow but will most definitely never happen

It’s not a collector’s item or anything. Snow is a ton of fun.

Hehe, good times -- nice video!

Traction control into sport mode, RS3 will throttle steer really nicely in snow.

Meh, I'll drive mine in the rain but it has been garaged since early November, along with my S4. I got other shit for winter duty.

It really pisses me off how some get judged based on how they enjoy their own cars. It's your car, enjoy it the way you want to.

I don’t think anybody is judging anyone. You’re free to do whatever you want with your own money and possessions.

For me, I live in the city and don’t really have a place to store a second car. If I did I would most definitely have a basic daily and a more sporty weekend car that can sit in the winter. The entire point of me buying an awd vehicle is so I can drive it year round in any weather. If I didn’t have to do that I would have something less winter friendly as a second vehicle.
