APR TCU tune rev limit issue??

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
When I got the apr tcu tune on my s7 I asked for a higher rev limit. I noticed the red bars did not increase like they should once you increase the rev limit on tcu tune , but it does rev past one of those bars which I believe is 6600rpms. Did the shop install the tune not give me a higher rev limit? Could there be an issue with the tune?

My APR software for the 3.0t is the same way.

Car revs to 7200, but the redline still shows 6400.

APR does not change the factory redline in the cluster. The car will indeed rev to where the APR software is advertised.

They do on the C7.5 with the 3.0T, I wonder if their 4.0T tune for the C7.5 does too? Not that it’s terribly relevant to this thread as op has a C7
