Has anyone experienced bevel box and driveshaft carrier bearing issues after installing a Haldex controller?

What kind of issues are you asking about? The haldex controller controls how fast and how hard the power is delivered to the back wheels. If you don't take the time to dial it in and then go run a sticky tire it is possible to break things. The carrier bearing isn't typically something that fails or does it need to be upgraded. You may need to updated if going with an aftermarket driveshaft but that is a whole new level of that most don't even need to consider.

    No issues.
Just curious if anyone has experienced a cracked bevel box housing or caused driveshaft failure after a Haldex controller installation before I do mine.

Syvecs Haldex controllers are a mixed bag. You'll hear about failures associated with them on occasion, depending on whether or not the member wants to speak openly about it or if the shop isn't covering down on the damage. Most folks don't talk about failures with them but, it has happened. Haldex and the associated components were just not designed to take that kind of abuse. However, the fastest people were all using it so, there's that to consider. But you also have to consider their willingness to replace damaged items as a result of its use.

That's supposed to get released in Q1 of 23, right? I haven't spoken to Tobias in a while.

Super nice! Tried some searches for the release but only found this -

Where to order? Parts cost? Ideas on what's the next fuse in the system if you add these (what else needed to support this), thx!

I believe the official release is January. It was supposed to be December but they had a last minute small delay.

I get all my information from IG for HPerformance.

    Email Tobias at [email protected]

This is what I paid but I think I may have gotten a small Christmas discount.

    Haldex cover: €2450
    Haldex piston: €415
Original Borg Warner clutch pack: €715

You get an 1 extra clutch disc over stock. Not cheap but you don’t have to send anything back and forth; just send you the parts and you install them. I was told it’s a fairly easy install and can be done in 3 hours.

Awesome, thank you for the info! Nice if it's a one and done upgrade.

It’s one and done if you’re not worried about doing certain things you need a controller for like sending 100% of the power to the front and 0% to the rear for burnouts/dyno runs/etc and always having a 50/50 bias. You will still need a controller for those things. It’ll definitely pair nicely and prevent the syvecs controller from toasting your stock haldex, though.

I'm going to take a shot in the dark and assume that the larger Haldex cover is to accommodate the larger Haldex piston? Fundamentally at least. The extra clutch disc being a byproduct of that.

No issues with the IMS Haldex controller on my 2018..but I've also never set it to anything extreme nor run drag radials. Maybe 10 Stage 1+ E85 launches on PS4S. Now on TTE700, but just street driving.
