    I looked at my original rack, and it has an electrical connection. Not sure what that connection is for, but that stopped them with proceeding further. Rebuilt RS6 rack is in perfect condition, but I am not 100% sure anymore it is a good fit for Allroad, because of that electrical connector.

    The electric connector is for 'servotronic' which increases the power assist at low speeds (like to make maneuvering in a parking lot easier). It won't cause any problems to remove the servotronic system, but depending on your preferences, you may like the extra low speed assist vs the quicker ratio of the RS6 rack. I don't know how heavy the RS6 steering is as I haven't installed an RS6 rack (yet).

    Thank you for confirming. That was my suspicion. When I got my allroad years ago, my first modification was to pull servotronic relay to get rid of grnadma cadillac light steering.
