    Hello
    Have a question for S4 owners :

I am seriously thinking about buying an
2014 S4 with DSG, the seller says car runs good but has a low pressure fuel issue, he doesn't what is causing it, is this something to worry about or possible just a fuel pump issue, Car is great shape and has some exterior upgrades like rear diffuser and spoiler, interior is in great condition.
Should I get it and fix it or run away?
    He is asking $15k , 120000 miles .
    (Coilovers, muffler delete, cts intake)

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks 😊

"Runs good" as in he still beats on it despite it having a fueling issue. Yeah I'd pass on that one.

See if you can pull a scan. And see what codes pop up.

    Offer him $8k.
It's dsg and will need service
It's got lots of miles on oem cats
Unknown service history means pcv/ thermostat/ water pump will need to be done.
Original bricks inside the sc means they'll need to be replaced.

    Oem control arms?

Now let's talk about your fueling...
I'd replace all 6 injectors no matter what. $800

Oem hpfp? That's another couple hundred whether you go replacing only internals or the whole thing.

Lpfp is another couple hundred and a little bit more extensive on the install.

With that being said, if youve got tools and time, it could be a GREAT come up being that the parts the car needs are the ones required anyways and what will keep the car a keeper once you get into modding it.

Yeah I wouldn't go over $10k on it realistically. If it is just a fuel pump issue both the high and low pressure side is really easy. Both pumps are a 30 minute job in the driveway.

Ok thank you all for your input. !!
I will ask him to take off a few thousand dollars so I can do repairs, if is the fuel pumps I could do that and others not complex repairs. She might need PVC , waterpump and thermostat and that adds up too.
