RS Line 1 Owner CPO

Hey guys , found a cpo RS7 i'm interested in . Carfax shows it was a 1 owner corporate vehicle from day 1 , no fleet just listed as corporate . They've had it for the past 4.8 yrs until recently traded in . Seen this before but never paid mind to it. It has had registration renewals , as well as all of it's services on time at the same locations & dealer. Usually see corporate cars in & out in 1-2years so a little different . More so feeling like this was a personal vehicle tied to a business for tax purposes maybe. 10-20-30k all done on time at the dealer.

Is this a turnoff at all of any sort ? having a third party ppi in the works as well. I know cpo isn't worth a whole lot these days, but at least a little backing . Car isn't local so trying to line up my ducks before hand. Pictures look great but need to get out and drive/inspect it for myself for sure. Wondering if anyone else has had experince with corportate cars....

Not concerning at all imo. As you said, likely put under a individuals business entity, or driven by someone in Audi corporate. You already have the records, and doing a PPI for sanity sake. There are a few factory extended warranties and recalls for some heavy hitting failures now, that should regain some more confidence in used 4.0t purchases these days.

I picked up my 2016 S6 as a one-owner (corporate lease) with the original warranty and extended warranty included. It was a daily I believe, but bone-stock with only a few launches.

my 16 S6 was a three owner (technically 2) Lease, then business, and then a very short lived personal car (like 8 months)

I nearly bought it sight unseen, but am still pleasantly happy with the purchase, even with the multiple owners and corporate lease/ownership.

I also had 0 launches, and was bone stock when I picked her up in 21

Same here. Curious. I just about launched it the other day but didn’t let off the break. Does doing that mark off as launching on the counter?

Nah, gotta fully let off and full throttle. Also not good to partially launch. Use VCDS and info in the post I referenced.

I got my S6 back in Feb, found it out of State, unseen except dealer pictures and sales sent me tons of walk around videos, it was a 1 owner vehicle and barely put 6000 miles a year, bone stock, zero launch, prestige with every possible options they could add to the vehicle, purchased, serviced and put back for sale in same dealer. They also did a PPI, and I was able to purchase Audi platinum extended warranty. Super easy transaction, didn’t actually see/drive it until my buddy flew out and drove it back from 700 miles away. Couldn’t be happier as the car was pretty much like a brand new car(MY2016).

My last car was a CPO BMW and had a great experience. Another thing to consider after you get it is that some Indy mechanics will do a free “end of warranty” inspection, looking for anything wrong that might be covered under warranty. You take their notes to dealership for repair just before your warranty runs out. They then hope you use their shop in the future. Good deal all around!
