    Seatbelt anchor nut

Hey guys, I’m finally putting the interior of my a6 together after having done sound and then it goes into the shop for new interior and trunk carpet, trim, etc…. As careful as I was I appear to have lost one of the inboard rear seat belt anchor nuts. Should I just go to one of the big box stores and try and match something up, or is it such a hardened metal and so critical that it holds the waist of the rear passengers in place that I should order it from Audi specifically and wait 73 years for it to show up?

Finally went to hardware store. Used a 7/16 - 20p. Works perfectly fine and it was less than $1 US. No reason to go to Audi or VW.

Shouldn't that be a metric nut?

That’s what I thought too. I expected M12, but couldn’t find one with the right thread. The nut I had fit perfectly on sample bolt of size above..
