I just bought one to put on the shelf for my '03 RS6 which is currently doing fine on the original. These New Nissan compressors come pre-filled with compressor oil and then sealed caps. Just hook up and charge, just bought one and installed in my RS5 (also a Nissans, similar size but geared drive)('13 RS5 compressor already worn out, '03 RS6 going strong). Audi's geared drive for the RS5 running all the time isn't the best design I guess, think the engineers could have figured that out.
