    A few more buying questions...

    • Dynamic steering...yay or nay? I haven't seen much feedback on it other than generally a lack of predictability.
    • Are the hubs/calipers different for the CCB? Can I, rather than foot the insane replacement cost somewhere down the line, switch to steel rotors and corresponding pads without replacing anything else?* Would increase my buying options if I didn't need to work around the dynamic plus packages.**
    • Anyone opt for the alcantara seats? Experience? I generally prefer them, but don't see many on the market with them - I know you lose the lighting package.
    • Any way to kill the pumped in engine noise that doesn't involve*coding or green screen?* Still impressive note in the cabin with the sport exhaust and no artificial sound?*
    • Any must do/immediate modifications? Seems like strut bar is an easy, universally like mod for chassis stiffness and I assume turn-in. Looking to purchase an RS5 in part to not have to do any modifications, but if there are simple upgrades, I'm all ears.

    Thanks!

Switching between CCBs and steel brakes involves new rotors, calipers, and pads at each wheel.

Keep in mind, you would only have to replace the fronts (rears are not ceramic).

As for must have mods, I can only go by what I've installed to date. Best bang for the buck installs I've done are the 034 Motorsport front strut brace, the transmission mount insert, and the Bull-X resonator delete pipes.

Pumped in sound can be turned off with an OBD11 (kind of a must have with any Audi vehicle). Super easy too.

Dynamic Steering was a must for me as I like the variable ratios in all other modes, and a fixed ratio in Dynamic. Kind of the best of both worlds in my opinion.
    Current: 2024 BMW M3 Competition xDrive | 2022 Audi Q7
    Gone: 2022 Audi RS5 | 2020 BMW M340i | 2019 Audi RS5

wouldn't you end up with different color calipers front and back?

best bang for buck was a used JB4 :)
but yes on everything you changed
    i have the same
except i have the ECS strut brace (didn't want silver, wanted black to blend in)
and ecs transmission insert as its Polyurethane not metal, i didn't want any extra NVH
and bull-x with exhaust valves open is a must

CCB calipers are available in grey, red, or blue. You can also always paint them to match.
