AWE Exhaust Loose Valve/Assistance

Greetings!

I'm fairly new to car scene and own a B9 S4. The previous owner purchased a AWE exhaust Switchpath and I've been dealing with a valve issue.

Apparently, there's a screw loose from where the valve opens/closes, and it's welded shut so there's no way of getting to it without cutting it.

I was quoted for a new one from one of the dealers at about $650+; however, I feel that's fairly expensive for a muffler.

Any suggestions on repairing a loose valve or alternative exhaust systems to switch out?

I’m very happy with the ECS valved exhaust. It sounds absolutely amazing, and I think they have a holiday sale right now. The construction is fantastic, fit was excellent and it’s nice and quiet with the valves closed and catless downpipe, while being aggressive open.
