    Struggles filling up with gas

Hello, my b6 hates taking more than $5 without shutting the pump off and hissing at me. I deleted the charcoal canister, as most people said that fixed their issue, yet it persists. Is the actual vent valve itself bad? Any tips?

    Thanks.

I had the same struggle. I had to have my hand on the pump the whole time controlling the flow to a very small amount. I got tired of it after a while.

I just bought a used charcoal canister off eBay for ~$80 and swapped it out. Instantly solved my problem. Never had any issues filling up since. As a bonus my fuel gauge reads correctly now. When the old canister was in there, the fuel tank couldn't vent so it was collapsing under the vacuum and was squeezing the fuel level sender.

Sadly the canister delete didn't solve my problem. I think a line or the paper filter on the LDP pump is plugged up. Instead of buying the $100 filter I bought a vibrant PCV filter meant for a 3/4" grommet hole for $10 which should work just as well.
