    SQ8 gloss black exhaust tips

    I searched for gloss black "black optic" exhaust tips online and nothing in detail and the thread in this forum their was an expensive painted aftermarket option (+$500) or audi part numbers listed on the tips themselves only produce images for rsq8 oval tips but list the sq8 as fitment. they are definitely different in shape and mounting locations. so i decided to spend $30 and some of my time over the weekend to sand down the chrome tips and spray paint them myself. 3 coats gloss black. 2 coats clear. im satisfied! durability should be same as oem with proper cleaning. worst case scenario is another $30 and my time 20221211_165205.jpg20221211_165128.jpg20221211_165137.jpg20221211_165142.jpg20221212_141100.jpg20221212_142455.jpg20221212_142517.jpg20221212_154730.jpg

    Greg, parts numbers for the OEM tips would be great. Possible to dig up/ post the part numbers for the black SQ7 tips as well? (if available) Thank you!

    i can assure you the sq7 is NOT same shape/fitment as the sq8 tips. i already been there done that by ordering the sq7 tips and they 100% do not fit.
