FL bumper

I want to put fl bumper on mine prefacelift 98 a4,do I need go change the crash bar to fl one..Is this fl crash bar on pic?

I do know the core support is different, with the exception the intercooler piping/bar.

Mainly due to the different (1 piece vs 2 piece) headlights.

Wish I could be of more help. Try searching up face-lift conversion threads.

That is defo not the crashbar on a facelift bumper, infact the crashbar is built into the bumper not separate. Not sure why your car is like that.

Yup. Also I suspect those fenders have been cut or swapped to face-lift ones.

And yeah I think that crash bar is different. On the pre-facelift it's more of an aluminum box tube construction?

Definitely hard to tell if your fenders are Fl ones or PFL ones that have been trimmed to fit the FL bumper. Im curious if that might be the crash bar for the euro bumper. PFL and FL crash bars are the same from what Ive personally seen.

Fenders are from PFL but as I have a bad FL bumper which is broken on multiple locations,I want to put other FL bumper,also car will get a big IC on the front so I want to check with all of you on forum..My friend has a3 98 year an his crash bar is totaly different than mine 98..
