Anyone have any experience with these? They came ages ago with an FCP front end kit I bought and I never used the inners now I'm midway into swapping them out and having second thoughts on the quality. I'm using Febi B6 S4 solid outers.

I haven't but just swapped in the Meryle HD and I'm happy with how they have been performing...I feel there's a reason why even Meryle started their HD line iof goods after reading some information a while back on the aftermarket standard stuff...I hope you get it right and tight!! Worse case, you install them and need to reinstall others after a while...

I did standard meyle inners on my other B6 about 10 years ago and so far so good. I just hate doing things twice but I figured I already had these on hand. This car only sees 10k kms a year max.

Go for it than! Nothing is worse than doing things twice but what's on hand is a sunk cost, use them until found to be refine! "What's the least expensive thing to do first" is my moto now days...

By chance do you mean the outers? I had the Meyle outers and despite the claims of superior design they did not hold up.

No reason to not do lemforder inners and outers considering how cheap those suspension parts are from them. Inner/outer combo is $100 a side on FCP.

I went back and checked my records, I put in Lemforders on the inners 3 years ago, they have been perfect. I paid about $55 each, less than OEM but not as low as TRW. I looked at FCP and I did not see Lemforder inners listed separately. I did find a kit for $99.99 for a complete side.

No I'm talking about inners. I did inner and outers with karlyn. Now lemforder. Should have done lemforder from the start.

Impressive. I can see outers going from water exposure but it takes a special kind of low quality to mess up the inners.
