    P17D4 & P17D5 S-tronic, after sporty driving

    Hello everyone

I bought my audi about month ago, and after aggressive driving in dynamic mode. Error msg pop out on display saynig Tpms, limp mode. After turn off, turn on car everything was fine and no problem. At home i read out DTC and got P17D400.
After some time i was again driving in dynamic mode and again limb mode but now with no reverse. Diagnosed P17D500. This happens only if i driving aggressively but when I am driving normally nothing, everything is fine.

What could it be si possible that when oil gets hot it lose pressure, or isn't there enough oil?

With little to go on, and you say you lost reverse at one point I think your valve body is suspect for sure. Yes, heat is the enemy of the gearbox. Transmission fluid temps would be a great bit of data. Low hydraulic fluid makes the problem worse. Poor airflow over the radiator or poor circulation through the transmission cooler makes the problem worse. The clutches are a little harder to diagnose but they are a wear item. If they are loose and have low friction from heat and hard driving it will make it it possible to not transmit torque and throw errors. Either way seems you have a tired transmission. Try a fluid change, beyond that you are opening it up.

I already got everything for oil change with inner filter, and some days ago i ordered solenoids ( N440, N436, N471, N472). I hope that wil solve the problem.

I got lil question? When you stay on place and have selected D. Do clutch plates grind against them self or car disengage clutch completely. If no is better to put gearbox to N?

While sitting in one place, there is no need to shift to neutral, 1st clutch is "depressed" and is open and no torque is going to the output shaft. The clutch plates come together to transmit torque from the engine when you want to accelerate the car. In your case you have two clutch sets, one for even gears and one for odd gear sets. Erwin has some good documentation on the Dual clutch gearbox and how it works.
