Bought the oem carrier bars 8W8-071-126
and the install was a real PITA. Audi says the part fits all versions of the A5/S5/RS5 coupe and sportback. My box didn’t come with the assembly tool which looks like a credit card so I tried to make it work a credit card. I wasn’t able to easily line up the hooks with the pegs and slide the bar forward to lock into place. The bars just would not seat down easily.
Did anyone else struggle getting the pegs lined up under the weather stripping? Any suggestions to make this easier?
