I went here before and it was fine to avoid driving up to Pfaff. For my most recent experience I brought a leased TT RS in for regular service/oil change and a safety inspection prior to a buy out. The sales department tried to up charge me on fees not in the lease agreement. Demanding payment for a CarFax, which is obviously silly since I was buying out a car I leased since new. Finally after all the back and forth they reluctantly agreed to drop it. I had to explain to them that the lease buyout cost was determined at the time of purchase and they can’t add on fees when I exercise a right under contract. I can’t believe how long it took to explain this to them.

As part of the service prior to the buyout, he service department installed the under shield incorrectly and it came loose on the highway the next day and started banging around under the car. I had to zip tie it into place to make it home. Since getting it fixed I’ve received three different stories, each more elaborate and wild than the next, about how it was ‘already like that’ when the car was serviced. When excuses turned to straight up lying I got really concerned. Their explanation is, of course, impossible, since you need to remove and reinstall this part to perform the oil change. When I pointed out that, if true, this meant they passed a car through safety with a body panel hanging off which would be against the mechanic’s legal obligations not to certify an unsafe vehicle, all communication ceased.

The dealer manager refused to take my calls and address this situation at all. Audi Canada provided no recourse (obviously). All of this because they just wouldn’t just say “sorry, we forgot to put those two bolts in”.
