    B7 s4 electrical/ who knows what

Rebuilt my 2007 s4 motor, new timing parts and added some upgrades. Before I could get it running the mice got into my car. I got rid of them but my electrical is goofy. The timing is mechanically on as I took the valve covers off and the cams are aligned, however, when it does run I have to keep my foot on the gas and if I drop it below 1,000 rpm it dies. Feels like it’s running rough but it revs easy and smooth. Also, when starting I have to mash the gas pedal and it seems like it’s not going to start till something catches, the electrical bogs down sometimes cutting out the display. Brand new starter, battery, and fuel pump by the way. I can’t figure this out it’s driving me crazy. When turning the ignition on it seems intermittent as to whether the fuel pump will prime. Any ideas? Thanks

Have you scanned the car for codes?

I’m getting open or short coolant temp sensor, p0346, p0341. Doesn’t make any sense though the timing is physically on via timing tools. New cam sensors too. I’m wondering if some electrical issue could upset the cam adjuster by manipulating the electromagnetic field. Can’t figure out if the fuel pump is on the same circuit as the camshaft sensors
