Our 2019 Audi RS 3 was rated at 397 HP but two other Dyno services I've used over many years
showed that our slightly tweeked RS 3 such as our's was producing 413-420 HP. As a longtime
'Hydromatic' user in modified engine vehicles over many years, I've found Audi's current auto
transmission to be an exceptional transmission indeed, based on now our 30,751 miles of
very fast country back raod runs made diuring when very few others are on these roads at the
same time. Total mileage to date is 42,862 miles as of last week, of which 30,751 miles
have been fast country back road runs, 10am to 2pm as weather permits.
The Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ 245/40/18 tires on Neuspeed RSe10 alloy 18x8.5 wheels which
IMMEDIATELY replaced the 235/35/19 tires on our Audi, which were totally unsatisfactory!
Two of them suffered tread failure and failed within the first two days we owned the Audi,
driving on aged country back roads, which these tires FAILED on! Their replacements are STILL
running these roads weekly, as weather permits and now at 42,862 miles of use.
We don't run on weekends due to traffic. Only several days a week, weather permitting and
typically between 10am and 2 pm when these roads are typically otherwsie empty of other
vehicles. Have to watch out for the mail delivery people though and the occasional grocery
shopper and visiting friends. Otherwsie the roads we test on are typically vacant of any
other vehicles during this time of day... during the 39 years we've lived in this area to date.
My Photo Gallery is active!
