B9 OBD11 and S5 ambient light

Was wondering if OBD11 can be used to make interior ambient lights brighter than the brightest setting allowed via MMI?

Not aware of increased brightness being able to be done.

I am not sure what kind of coding or changes can be made but it’s definitely worth looking in to. My situation can probably be resolved by using brighter aftermarket LED’s to replace OEM but I have to look in to that

You can get them from most of the vendors on here or just get it from Amazon.

You are welcome. I am unaware of anything you can code to make the ambient lights brighter in Pro. However, once OBDEleven is connected and you get inside and look around I would not be surprised if there was a way to do it. The list above is not a complete list, more stuff can be coded when discovered. Note: Make sure to keep good notes when you change something so you can go back and undue it if needed.

Would changing and switching things around cause to void warranty? Also is there another larger doc to change for example VC? Add more gauges as I have seen some?

I have never heard of anyone (in3 years of using OBDEleven) mentioning coding with OBDEleven voided any part of the Audi warranty. Plus, I have never seen/heard of anyone being able to code the VC. Many have asked on AudiWorld: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/aud...cabrio-b9-220/ but the answer has always been: "it cannot be done." If it could be coded it would probably be one of the hottest, coolest mods that you could do, like adding extra gauge faces, but it's not available.

Bummer! But i have definitely seen two gauges that show HP and TQ I believe? Might be in an RS dont remember

Yup, you're right, the RS5 has different options available in the VC. I think they have a G meter too.

Not sure I follow...it's called OBDeleven. Just choose the one for the phone platform you use (iPhone or Android).
