Anybody else have to take it beyond easy doing a u turn in a mk3 RS? Mine gives me a very strange front end sensation with even just slight acceleration.

I'd like to help but need more specific info than "very strange front end sensation" - as in noises, vibrations, road surface, wheel, tire or suspension parts contributions ? Do you recognize these from each other? - Please expand on what the "sensation" is. Is it a sense that the car won't turn as much (or too much) as you want/expect? Is it a sense of loss of traction? - a slippery or gravely feel? Is it a sense of sound that is concerning? what kind of sound? - a grinding, squeal, a thunk or a clunk, or a click or a bunch of them? Is it a sense of vibration that you don't expect or are concerned that a part (tire, wheel, brake, something else ? knee bone, thigh bone?) is about to fail?

It’s probably nothing. I’ve had a bunch of VW/Audi cars but never one with 20 inch wheels. The feeling is like the front end wants to plow and it does vibrate some. I’ve also noticed a similar feeling when I go over a rock with the wheels turned.

I have recently noticed that when I am near full lock the car feels like I ran over a stick or a rock. It's like the tire lost traction for a second and skipped. It feels just like a truck in 4 wheel drive when turning.

Completely normal for big fat low profile tarmac tyres (tires if you can't spell proper) in tight turns. Thread from UK TT forum about it here https://www.ttforum.co.uk/threads/rs.../#post-9116451
