I have a 2019 S4 and want to add a third key fob. Ebay sellers offer used OEM fobs that are the exact part number and frequency for sale. Can they be reprogrammed to my car?

From the research I did about a year and a half ago it wasn't possible. I went through Audi about $1,000 for key and fob and then another 185 to have it reprogrammed.

The key fob is less than $400, then one hour labor to program.

You'd want to confirm the necessary one for your VIN with the parts department first. No idea why the site brings up the A model fob when I picked S4 as the model. That's the poor work we get from people these days.

Looks like the metal key is an extra part, https://parts.audiusa.com/p/64367706/4M0837216AAIF.html
