OEM 4.0T downpipes for APR downpipes

Debating swapping out my stage II apr cast downpipes and going back to stock. The emissions here in Missouri just make it too much of a hassle.

These have less than 20k miles on them. So looking for relatively similar low-mileage OEM cats.

You’d likely need to go stage II software from APR to make them worth it. But the sound is definitely addictive.

Do they have cats? If so, I can buy them off you and then sell you my stock ones when swapped after they arrive. I have an APR Stage 1 and do not mind going to 2.

EDIT: I've got a shop that can swap it as soon as they hit my door.

If the stage 2 code was already used it can't be applied again or taken off of the original VIN, this might have changed but there was a very upset owner last year who was trying to get APR to honor stage 2 after the cut-off date on used pipes. https://www.audizine.com/forum/showt...t=APR+downpipe

I appreciate it. Someone else can grab em' as I don't want to deal with APR and the Stage 2 fiasco that person dealt with. Thanks VW for diesel fiasco messing up everyone's fun.

It's a sticky situation with the software, not entirely an APR issue. Downpipes have had their culture war for a while; power or not they add sound to the exhaust which most of the time enthusiasts do want more growl. I'd take HFC APR or HFC APR style pipes any day over test pipes cause I'm too old for that smelly shit in a nice car. APR Stage 1 users just meet a fork in the road with what's available next, do you move to Stage 3 software or pivot to another ecosystem.

For me it's not about defeating the MIL, as that's easy. It's about having the tune to match for me and the Audi/APR dealership told me that if I came back with the DP, I could get to stage 2 "more than likely". This clearly says that won't happen and I'm not ready to to upgrade the rest of it to support a Stage 3 from APR and I can't just throw money down the drain on the APR.

Not to hijack the thread but i assume that you are talking existing APR stage 2 people. I just did Stage 1 a month ago and tried to get stage 2. They wont sell it. I wanted to go to stage 2
