Tire wear after EMD Springs and Alignment

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I had EMD Springs installed in August and had new wheels mounted with my Stock tires at the same time.
They did an alignment and last week I swapped out those wheels for my Winter setup.
I was checking the tires and it looks like my front tires are wearing bad on the inside, Drivers side more than Passenger.
I took it back to the shop today and they said that the Drivers side was "Slightly out of spec" and fixed it.

    They're saying the following:
-Springs may be causing the issue
-They adjusted it all the way and its as good as it will get

    My questions:
    -Is this even reasonable?
-How do you guys who are lower than this mild drop (1" maybe) not shredding tires?
-Does my shop just not know what they are doing? Are they doing it to the Stock spec?

    Thanks in advance

Were you able to get the alignment spec sheet from them?
Other things could be tire pressure. Could you post a pic of the full tire?

They didn't offer a spec sheet but I can call and ask tomorrow.
I can try and get a pic tomorrow, the wheels/tires are put away.
They originally filled the tires to like 33lbs but the tire itself says 42lbs so I bumped it up a week or 2 before I took them off. Could that be it?

Im just afraid to trash my winter setup.

    Thanks

Been running emd springs for 2 years now on my 2020 S4. No issues on my end. Car was aligned once when the springs were installed.

I had bands show on just one tire, and the alignment was fine (very minor adjustments needed after new tires), so it may just be these tires/how we drive

OK, here is what I got. They told me that they don't have any more adjustment to get it any better than this.

What tires are you running that requires 42 psi?

They're the stock Hankook Evo S2 or whatever. And I was wrong about that part, it says 44 & 45 on the inside of my drivers door (not 42 on the tire, I was going off memory) but the tire says Max of 50lbs.

Yeah I had a shop do that once and the car drove like shit tbh.
Always ran 33-36 psi on the tires.
The 45 is for max load

Is it out of spec enough to need them? It appears that its within Spec.

    Appreciate the help
