I am going to be doing the "top end reseal" (valve covers gaskets, cam seals, exhaust manifold gaskets, turbo install kit), probably rebuild the vacuum system as well and even though my timing kit only has 30k on it it will have roughly 35-40k on it when motor gets pulled so I was thinking about doing that as well just for piece of mind.
I went with the JHM Chromoly flywheel with b7 rs4 clutch kit, got 034 street density motor and trans mounts, and I recently replaced my terribly clogged spyder hose with the 034 silicone setup and did the ecs 2.0 coil conversions.....
What I am asking here, is there anything you guys would do preventatively that I haven't listed while the motor is out? The car will only ever be an exhaust and stage 1 tune as far as power goes, I was thinking of sourcing an rs6 rack before tackling this task as well for ease of installation.
Anyways heres a pic of my clogged spyder hose hahaha
