034 Rear Sway vs H&R or Hotchkiss F/R anti-roll bars?

Looks like the front sway is 30mm and the rear is 22mm. As a person who enjoys a little bit of tail-out action, I'm thinking about buying some upgraded sways to shift the balance a little towards oversteer. It seems like there's three options:

    1. 034 rear sway only - designed to work with OEM front. Increases rear size to 25.4mm, claims increase of 100-125% over stock rear
    https://www.034motorsport.com/034mot...djustable.html

    2. Hotchkiss front/rear sport sways - increases front size to 35mm and rear to 29mm, claims an increase of 235-305% over stock rear, and 60% over stock front
    https://www.hotchkis.net/product/200...rt-suspension/

    3. H&R Performance front/rear sways - increases front size to 32mm and rear to 24mm. H&R doesn't provide any specific stiffness claims, but it's a similar price to Hotchkiss while being a much smaller increase in bar diameter

I also know that some parts from 034 are considered of questionable durability, so I wanted to ask those of you who have been running bars for awhile, which do you like or not like? On the surface, it seems like the H&R bars would maintain a similar front to rear balance, which doesn't really seem like what I want.

One other concern, the Philadelphia area has a lot of bad roads, and a lot of poorly constructed driveways. Adding stiffer sway bars would mean that I'm more likely to cock a wheel in the air right? Considering these are AWD cars I wasn't super concerned about this, but I just wanted to make sure I wouldn't put myself at a higher risk of rubbing inside the fenders.

Not much to offer, I am going full Hotchkis myself as I like the most possible....

Whats your suspension like overall? You shouldn't get any doglegging with the rear sway bar pending your current suspension but I couldn't tell you for sure and will be waiting on those who have the experience as well. To be safe you could just get the H&R rear but at the same token get 034 rear links as the are adjustable so you can tune the load for a good daily balance...or just start with the links and preload the bar and see how that feels.

Lol is doglegging when a wheel goes in the air?

I currently have billstein PSS9s which are low but not slammed.

You would less likely to rub a wheel as you are adding spring rate to the side that is being compressed. I like the H&R because they don’t require greasing. I would also start with rear bar only.

I've had the 034 rear and end links for about 5 years now. The difference is definitely noticable. The quality seems great with only one issue. Twice (no matter how much loctite I used) I've lost one of the bolts in the endlink. My big beef with 034 is the horrible customer service. I went around and around with them about a replacement and finally just went and got a stainless replacement myself. Unless you are doing some serious w2w racing (or have $ laying around you just want to spend) the rear will make you happy on the street. There is no doubt the Hotchkiss pair is amazing but for a fraction the 034 or similar rear will transform the way the car handles.

Did you get the same end links they recommend in their listing? https://www.034motorsport.com/sway-b...attro-fwd.html

Maybe the spacing in their bolts doesn't perfectly match up with the spacing on the inside of the end links. I wonder if there's another option for end links that's better. Or maybe I should just plan on getting a set of better bolts haha, says they're M10x20

The links themselves are fine. (The rubber covers are a little weird and awkward) I just torqued them a couple of lbs more than they said and used red loctite. Haven't had an issue since. I just wish they had better customer service. It's bad.

I have the hotchkis and love them. I have many other 034 parts on the car (mounts, control arms, etc) but definitely recommend the hotchkis for sway bars.

H&R here. Remember that sway bars prevent your suspension from fully working so there can be a thing as too much. I installed my H&R's over 10 years ago and not one single issue to date.

doglegging is something to worry about as our cars have open diffs and provide power to the wheel with the least resistance and the wheel in the air, well........ Ever try to get into a driveway, wheel lifts and you can't move?
