oil change interval for 2009 B8 2.0T - 10km/day drives

Hello,
am looking for advice about a reasonable oil change interval for my 2009 B8 2.0T - mostly driven 10-20 km/day with very few highway drives over 100 kms.
Last time oil change was on May 07 at 191,000 kms with Castrol Edge 5W40 and Fram Ultra XG10600.
Now am at 193,700. So that puts me at approx. 2,500 in 6 months.

Sounds like you're on the "once a year" plan.

with your driving pattern, i would change at least every 7 - 8000 km. the reason is beacause you don't drive enough for the oil to heat up and really burn off the water and other byproducts of combustion. so your oil degrades faster. city driving without sustained high RPM only makes things worse.
