Does anyone have any experience SHW Performance AFX45511 replacement TTRS front rotors? Looks like SHW was the oem supplier for Audi for part number 8S0615301E and was superseded with 8S0615301L (Brembo).

The vendor indicated this kit includes a pair of AFX45511 rotors for $516.95 but their picture appears to be incorrect. https://eeuroparts.com/product/shw-p...nce/4205165KIT.

I don't have experience with either. But my 2 cents if you are doing front rotors, spend the cash and get the floating 2 piece AP upgrades from Essex. It's been on of the favorite mods I've done.

Could you feel the difference in weight from stock to the AP?

I really did feel I could tell the difference. And a aesthetically it's a massive improvement.

I would say the AP rotors from Essex are the best of the best. There are other very good options like GiroDisc which can be purchased from multiple vendors on this site. The 034 Motorsports rotors also seem very good. The two piece solutions are worth the added expense to get the weight reduction. Eliminated rotating mass should be a top priority.

Agree. And I'm willing to pay even a reasonable premium to support Essex because of the support they've given the platform. And...you can upgrade to their caliper which fits their upgraded rotor. It's win/win and a amazing upgrade path.
